Barre Classes in Saugeen Shores & Fitness Bingo!


Fitness Update: New Kangoo and Barre Classes Added to Lakeshore Recreation's October Schedule! Plus Fitness Bingo in Saugeen Shores


We’re excited to introduce two brand-new classes to our October schedule at Lakeshore Recreation! Whether you're looking to shake up your routine or try something fresh, our latest additions are perfect for all fitness levels and offer unique, fun ways to stay active.


Introducing Barre and Kangoo!

  • Barre: A fusion of ballet, dance, Pilates, and yoga, Barre is designed to strengthen deep stabilizing muscles, improve posture, and enhance flexibility. This class will keep your muscles engaged with smaller, isometric contractions for a total body workout. Whether you're a beginner or a fitness enthusiast, Barre is adaptable for all levels, and you don’t need to be a dancer to experience the Barre burn. Join Angela on Monday mornings at 6:15 am or Lisa on Wednesday evenings at 6:00 pm.


  • Kangoo: Get ready to bounce! Kangoo is a high-energy, low-impact cardio class using rebound boots to make working out fun while reducing stress on your joints. Build strength, endurance, and coordination while enjoying a workout that feels more like a party. Perfect for all fitness levels, Kangoo is available every Tuesday and Thursday at 5:00 pm with Barb.

This October, we’re making fitness even more fun with our Fall Into Fitness October Bingo! Challenge yourself by trying out new activities like attending a yoga class, playing squash, or even doing a personal training session.


There are plenty of fun tasks that include interacting with our team—whether it's taking a sweaty selfie, tagging us in your post, or sharing your personal best bench press numbers!
