Two 'Pop-Up' Fitness Classes at Lakeshore in support of Huron Shores Hike-4-Hospice Team, April 25 & 26.

At Lakeshore Recreation, we are passionate about community engagement and making a positive impact. This April, we are excited to team up with Her Strength Studio & Dunbar Fitness to host 2 special "pop-up" fitness classes supporting Huron Shores Hike-4-Hospice: a Friday Night Blacklight POUND class on April 25th at 6 PM. The next morning, Saturday April 26th at 10:30 AM, we are having a wonderful AM Yoga class with Lorraine. Donate what you can to this great cause and join us.

What is POUND?
POUND is a dynamic fitness experience that blends the joy of drumming with a high-energy workout. Participants beat drumsticks to create music while doing cardio, strength training, and conditioning exercises. It is suitable for all fitness levels; no prior experience is required—just bring your positive energy! Led by the experienced Barb Abell, you will enjoy a vigorous session that promises to leave you feeling energized, empowered and GLOWING! Friday April 25th at 6 PM.

Start your day with a refreshing morning yoga session to invigorate your body and mind, setting a positive tone for the hours ahead. Embrace the tranquility and focus that yoga brings, allowing you to cultivate mindfulness and clarity as you navigate your day. Experience the benefits of increased flexibility, strength, and mental well-being, making morning yoga an essential part of your daily routine. (BYOM if able) Saturday April 26th at 10:30 AM.

Supporting Huron Shores Hospice
These special classes are about more than fitness; it’s an opportunity to give back. All donations collected during the class will go directly to Huron Shores Hospice. This essential service provides compassionate care for individuals facing life-limiting illnesses in our community. With the support of local events like this, Huron Shores Hospice can continue to help families navigate their journeys during difficult times.
